Mildred (Price) Newton, 87, of Locust Grove passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Culpeper Health and Rehab. She born in Spotsylvania, VA on June 9, 1928 to Charles Preston and Sadie (Martin) Price. Mildred married Everett R. Newton in January 1949. Survivors include; her husband, Everett, one son; Welford Newton; a granddaughter; Brandy Lynn Newton and two nieces. Also mourning her death is her long time caretaker, Linda Burnette. Mildred was preceded in death by a brother; Irvin Price and sister; Eva Louise Corley. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, under the directions of Laurel Hill Funeral Home.
