Catrett, Myrtle Nell, age 81, passed away July 4, 2003. Mrs. Catrett was a member of Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witness. She worked at an aircraft factory in San Diego, Ca. and a torpedo factory in Washington D.C. during World War II. She retired from the Washington D.C. School System after 32 years of service in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis H. Catrett, Jr. and a daughter Patricia E. Catrett. She is survived by her children Clytie M. Catrett, Louis H. Catrett, III, Dennis P. Catrett, and David K. Catrett. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren Charles Raubacher, Brian Raubacher, Evan Poteet, Shannon Tyler, Louis Catrett,IV, David Alexander Catrett, Tiffany Ann Braden , Dennis Catrett, Jr., Gabriella Catrett, and Stephen Louis Catrett and a brother George B. Salisbury,Jr. Mrs. Catrett is also survived by several other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be July 8, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Fuenral services will be Wednesday July 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Myrtle was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by family and friends.
