Nancy Rewis of Spotsylvania, VA died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Nancy was proud to have worked for the U.S. Army for over thirty years. She worked the war room for Army Material Command during the first Gulf War, and throughout her career she received multiple awards. After retirement she worked several years at the Fredericksburg Auto Auction and volunteered at Mary Washington Hospital. All the while maintaining a full social life with neighbors and friends.

She is the loving wife of the late James Vernon Rewis; cherished mother of Lorri, and devoted sister of Gylene of Norwich, NY. She will be missed by her beloved Yorkie, Bella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews up and down the Eastern seaboard and the Western United States. Relatives and friends are invited to Nancy's visitation at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA on Friday, January 28th from 10 AM until time of Graveside Service at Laurel Hill Memorial Park at 12 PM.
