Nancy Lee (Toombs) Fletcher, 76, of Spotsylvania, passed away Sunday Feb. 17, 2013
at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Nancy was born on Oct. 18, 1936 to Samuel and Elizabeth (Hardy) Toombs in Fredericksburg. She married Rufus David Fletcher on Sept. 4, 1953 in Fredericksburg and he preceded her in death just after their 50th Anniversary.
Nancy worked as a dietician at Fredericksburg Nursing Home for over 33 years.
Survivors include: 3 sons; Rufus David Jr. and wife Janice, Timothy Ray and wife Debbie, Gary Lee and wife Cindy; 1 daughter: Nancy Carol Morgan and husband Mitchell; 2 brothers: Harry and Frankie Toombs; 1 sister: Betty Lou Sullivan; 3 grandsons: Rufus David Marshall Fletcher, Marshall Lane Morgan, Jonathan William Fletcher; 3 granddaughters: Kimberly Dawn Reid, Tabitha Renee Moore, Tiffani Rae Fletcher; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers; Kenneth and Bobby Toombs.
Visitation will be Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 from 1 pm to 2 pm, with funeral services beginning at 2 pm, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania with Pastor Jason Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
