Nelida Rosa Felix Bonilla, 82, of Arlington, VA passed away at her home, Friday, September 18, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones.
Nelida was born on June 4, 1933 to Vidal Felix and Ramona Bonilla (Sotomayor) Hernandez in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She married Reinaldo Antonio Irizarry and he preceded her in death. Nelida was a teacher, and owned her own preschool in Puerto Rico.
Survivors include; 2 sons, Gamal Gonzalez, Martin Irizarry; 3 daughters; Rosa Marina Gonzalez, Lilia Milagros Irizarry, Carmen Maria Irizarry; 2 sisters; Magdalena Felix, Gertrudis Felix and a host of other relatives. Visitation will be at St Agnes Catholic Church, Arlington, VA on Saturday September 26, 2015 from 10 am to 12 noon, with funeral mass beginning at 12 noon, with Father Mikolaj Scibior officiating.
Interment will be private.
