Nora Lee (Helmick) Frampton Bennett, 86, Fredericksburg passed away Monday Sept. 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Nora was born on Oct. 21, 1926 to the late George and Beatrice (Riley) Helmick in Middlebrook, Va. She married Wesley Frampton on Nov. 18 1949 and he preceded her in death in Feb. 1979. Nora then married Billy Bennett in 1980 and he also preceded her in 1986.

Nora loved the outdoors, her flower garden and enjoyed time with her family. She also loved cats and was know as the "Cat Lady" because she raised Himalayan cats, in Highland County, Va.

Nora is survived by 2 daughters: Ethel Frampton of Headwaters, VA and Rebecca (Becky) Neuman and her husband Timothy of Fredericksburg; 3 grandchildren: Robert Trimner, William Baer and Gloria Neuman Vasquez; 3 Great Grandchildren: Aydin and Hannah Trimner and Emmett Vasquez. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and her Beloved cat Friskie.
Graveside services will be held at Headwaters Cemetery, on her birthday, Oct. 21, 2013 at 1 p.m.
