NORMAN EUGENE WHITE SR, 79, of Spotsylvania VA., peacefully passed away with family by his side on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Norman was retired from The Washington Post after 25 years working as a Photo Engraver.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Verringo, his twin brothers, as well as brother Richard White; and grandson Danny Ramey Jr.
He was a loving, wonderful husband to his beloved Joyce, wife of 61 years; A terrific, loving father to his three children: Son-Norman E. White Jr (Tammy), Daughters- Debbie White and Dawn Jamison; and a fantastic, loving brother to his sisters Betty Elliot and Shirley Hallam (Richard).
His legacy continues on with his grandchildren: Mandi Ramey, Virginia Ramey, John Hunt Jr, Stacey Wilson (Chris), Kristopher Ramey, Samantha Mayor (Chris), Lisa Partonen, Linda Jo Carneal (James), Norman White, III (Tori), Tiffanny Jamison (Brandon), Brittany White, Breanna Blount (Josh), Derek Christian (Laura) and Sean Conkey. He was a great grandad to 33 children and a great-great grandad to one. His life touched many more special relatives and friends, to numerous to list.
A graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA., on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2 PM. Online condolences and fond memories of Norman may be offered to the family at
