Pat Andre Burleson
Pat Andre Burleson, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, in the care of Agape Rehabilitation of Conway, S.C.
He was born May 27, 1934, in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Felton Patrick and Dosia Virginia Brooks Burleson.
In additions to his parents, he was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Laura Woodward.
Pat was a loving husband to his wife, Betty, a good father to his sons and a good friend to everyone. He was one of the first motorcycle police officers the Fairfax Police Department ever had.
Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife, Betty Pruitt Burleson of the home; two sons, Guy Burleson and Don Burleson, and a stepson, Craig Woodruff; one brother, Harold Burleson; many beloved grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil McKenny officiating. The family will be receiving friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Spotsylvania.
