Obituary

Patrick Hale McGuire, (age 29) of Centreville, VA., passed away on December 31, 2020, due to natural causes at Mary Washington Hospital Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Loving son of Carole (Baker) and Paul McGuire; cherished brother of Kevin McGuire and Peter (Danielle) McGuire. Patrick's passion was teaching History at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax County.

Patrick attended high school in Burke, Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  He completed his Master degree in Education at the University of Mary Washington and began his teaching career at Robinson Secondary School.  Patrick was devoted to teaching and had particular empathy for the pressures facing today's high school students.  He particularly enjoyed sharing his expertise about World War II., including firsthand accounts of a tour of Europe following the Allied campaigns and a visit to Pearl Harbor.
Patrick was a friend to all and a dog lover, especially to the family Pugs. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Services will be private.
