Perry Lynn Arrington, age 49 of Fredericksburg, died early Sunday morning, July 27, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Samuel and Virginia Roey Arrington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Arrington, and a sister, Linda Light.
Mr. Arrington was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Betty Jean Arrington; two sons, Perry Lee Arrington and Michael Wilson Arrington; daughter, Tammy Lynn Woods; four grandchildren, Madison Lynn Woods, Logan Alexander Woods, Cassie Nicole Arrington, and Perry Lee Arrington, Jr.; three brothers, Thomas, Robert, and Glen Arrington; and one sister, Minnie Weeks.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, July 30th in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with Mr. Arrington's nephew, Mr. George Ryals, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, July 29, from 6:00 - 8:00 at the funeral home.
