Phyllis Booher, 82, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She was born on May 23, 1942, in Jenkins, Kentucky, to Eulas C. and Billie M. Carter. Phyllis grew up surrounded by the warmth of a large family and shared a special bond with her five siblings—Judy, Joyce, Jimmy, Michael, and Michelle—a connection that remained strong throughout her life. She carried this deep sense of family into her own home, where she was a devoted mother who loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. Her unwavering support and guidance shaped the lives of those she cherished most. A talented and creative soul, Phyllis found joy in crafting. Whether through crocheting or sewing, she expressed herself beautifully through her handiwork. Her home was always filled with the comforting scent of her delicious cooking and the quiet hum of her sewing machine. An avid reader, she also found solace and knowledge within the pages of countless books. Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald L. Booher; her son, Randy W. Booher; grandsons Alfred J. Honeycutt V and Jacob A. Fabricius; her parents, Billie M. and Eulas C. Carter; and her brother Jimmy D. Carter. She is survived by her loving children: Ronald L. Booher Jr., Yvonne Booher, and Cora Fabricius(Charles); grandchildren Nina Sanborn (Matthew), Judy Millaway (Samuel), Charles Fabricius Jr. (Jennifer), Lacey Walker-Portillo (Miguel), Hannah Randall (Josh), and Rebecca Fabricius (Joshua Borras); great-grandchildren Madison Roberts (Sam), Skylar Marmolejos (Omar), Lylah and SJ Millaway, Max and Camille Randall, Addison and Paige Sanborn, Harlow and Fallon Borras; great-great-grandchild Aspen Marmolejos; siblings Judy R. Breeden, Joyce Dailey (Alton), Jimmy Carter (Linda), Michael Carter (Linda), and Michelle L. Parker (Paul); as well as thirteen nieces, five nephews, ten great nieces, twelve great nephews, eleven great-great nephews, and ten great-great nieces. Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her gentle soul. Her love for family and passion for creativity leave behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations to come.
