Racheal Ouzts Douglass, of Locust Grove, VA, passed away at the age of 56 on the morning of Friday, 29 September 2023. She was born 29 October 1966 in Washington DC.
Racheal attended Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, VA. Since February 5 th , 2019, Racheal worked for Rapidan Service Authority (RSA) where she was better known as the "Water Mayor". She was a faithful member and deaconess of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lignum, VA where she studied the Bible, served the community, and grew in her relationship with Jesus. Racheal was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. To her intimate family and friends she was known as "Pappy" but to her husband, Marvin, she will always be his "Honey Bunny" and he was her "BFF." Racheal's family was her world, but she loved no one more than her "Love Bugs" Breeze and Sunny.
Racheal brightened the life of everyone she came across. Anyone that knew her would know where to find her… "breaking her wrist swiping her card at Walmart", her favorite store. Racheal is proceeded in death by her mother, Ruth Marshall; father, Robert Ouzts; grandparents, Thelma and Sam Williams and Dorothy Panky. Racheal's legacy will be carried on by her loving husband, Marvin Douglass; daughter, Tenisha (Sunshyne) Douglass and granddaughter, Breeze; son, Marvin Douglass II and granddaughter, Sunny (Juliet); father, Franklin Mashall Jr.; sisters, Robin Loony ; sister, Pamela Marshall and brother, Franklin Marshall III (Joy); as well as aunt, Tammy Williams; uncle, Herbert Gardner (Gladys); step-mother, Pat Ouzts; brother, Derrick Lee and sister, Erika Lee; aunt, Doreen Brown; and grandmother, Gisela Marshall also known as "Moody"; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Most importantly the lives of everyone she touched.
