Reginald Lee "Bill" Green, age 81, of Fredericksburg, passed away on May 20, 2004. Mr. Green was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he was also the Chairman of the Deacons. He was also the former President of the Baptist Men's Association. He was also the former Chairman of the Deacon's at Smithland Baptist Church in Heathsville, Va. Mr. Green served on numerous committees and his faith led him to work with the youth, homeless and missions. He retired from Farm Bureau Insurance Company. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Viar Green; 3 daughters Margie Lee (Bernard) Smith of Richmond,Va., Cynthia Green (Albert) Jeffries of Heathsville, Va., Melody (Terry) Tackett of Fredericksburg, Va. Mr. Green is also survived by 7 grandchildren Carolyn S. Robinson, Vickie Lynn Walker, Tracie Lee Grady, John David Tackett, Laura Lynn Tackett, Jordan Michael Tackett, Caleigh Jeffries, also 3 great-grandchildren Molly Kristen Robinson, Brandy Nichole Robinson Kendall Lynn Walker; one brother Howard F. Green of Culpeper. He was a servant of the lord and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all as a witness, guide, and teacher. Visitation will be Sunday May 23, 2004, from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Monday, May 24, 2004, at 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Jack Marcom, Jr. and Rev.
