Mr. Richard E. Chinault, age 63 of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Virginia, he was the son of the late Ralph and Gracie Perkins Chinault. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Chinault.
Mr. Chinault was a Material Technician for VDOT. He was a simple man who lived a simple life. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his friends. He had a deep love for life and all of the good things in it. One of his greatest joys in life was helping other people.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Chinault; son, Jeffrey Chinault; daughters, Lori Crist and her husband Robert, Lisa Fleck, and Angela, whom he loved as a daughter; his loving biker brothers, Tennessee Kerns, Juan Ortiz, Mike Jenkins, Craig Bellow, and Bill Madison. He is also survived by his loving Aunt Garnet, and numerous extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Chinault will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 21, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Harfst officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am - 12:00 noon, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, or to The Kidney Foundation.
