Richard " Ricky " Lee Spears Sr. of Spotsylvania, VA passed away at his home on December 2, 2020. He was surrounded by family and his beloved dog Jenny, she never left his side. Ricky is survived by his brothers, Benjamin " Teeny " (Laura); Timothy " Tim " (Cindy); his sister Pam Hume (Frank); his children, Rachelle Kopp (Jeff); Amy Lucas (Jeremy); Richard Jr " Rocky " ; his grandchildren, Hailey Kopp, Anthony Kopp, Elijah Lucas, Mason Kopp, and Peyton Kopp. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Dorothy Spears and his brother William " Frankie " (Gloria).

Ricky truly enjoyed working. Even as his health began to fail he wanted to be outside working. When not working he enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.

A special thank you to his friend and care giver, Krista Eftink for giving him care and comfort during his final days.

There will be a " Celebration of Life " service at a later time and will be announced to friends and family.
