Robert "Bob" Clinton Jones (Age 81), of Bumpass, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Parham Healthcare and Rehab Center. He is the loving husband of the late Mary L. Jones, cherished father of Carolyn J. Hook and her husband Andrew "Andy" Hook, Sr., grandfather of Andrew (Andy) Hook, II, his partner Jessica Glickman and Steven R. Hook and his wife Jessica. Bob is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Andy III and Hudson; siblings, Virginia "Jenny" Snyder of Bassett, VA and William "Bill" Jones of Bumpass, VA and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was raised in Northfork, WV. He married his High School sweetheart after serving in the US Army in Korea. They settled in the Washington, DC area. Bob began working for the telephone company in the early 60's and ended his career assigned to the White House as a communications expert for the president. Bob loved his family and riding his motorcycle. His philosophy on life: "It is what it is."
