Obituary
Robert L. McBride Sr., 89, of Locust Grove passed away Monday evening, July 1, 1013 at Carriage Hill Health and Rehab.
Robert was born on Nov. 29, 1923 in Romney, WV.
He joined the US Army in 1942, retiring in 1962 as a Sergeant First Class. Robert married Dorothy M. Burke, and she preceded him in death.
After retiring, Robert and Dorothy moved to Lake of The Woods, where he worked as a mechanic for the maintenance department of Lake of the Woods.
Survivors include: 3 Sons; Robert L. McBride and his wife Mary Ann, Thomas L. and Stephen L. McBride; 1 daughter: Betty Ann Keenan; and 1 brother, David McBride;
7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held on Sat. July 13, 2013 11 am, at the Faith Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, Va.
