Obituary

Robert (Rob) Norman, 57, passed away March 9 th , 2024. He was born June 19, 1966 in Furth, Germany, the son of Neal and Marsha Norman. He was born into a military family and moved frequently before settling in Virginia.

Rob graduated from Aberdeen High School, Aberdeen Maryland. After high school, he attended Northern Virgnia Community College. He enjoyed working as a chef. He worked in the food industry in many capacities over the course of his life. At the time of his death, he was the food and beverage director at Montclair Country Club.

He was a very proud father to his four children, Easton, Jakob, Adalynne, and Gabriella. He loved his family, and was a dedicated son.

He was a Steelers fan, a Nats fan, but above all, he was a Washington Capitals fan!

Rob is predeceased by his father Neal, and his nephew Bernie.

He is survived by his mother of Locust Grove, Marsha, his sister of Spotsylvania, Beverly, his brother of Fairfax Station, Doug, his children Easton, Jakob, Adalynne, and Gabriella of Dekalb Illinois, multiple nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and one great, great niece.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 on March 18 th , 2024, at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553. Interment following at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
