Robert Taylor Markham, our loving father passed away Wednesday October 29 th at his home.

Taylor is survived by three sons Robert L. Markham, Tony Markham, and Eric Houston.  Two daughters Tina Brown and Tonya Shields. 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  His brother Carol Markham and sister Violet Patrick.   A longtime friend and companion Linda Aldred.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie L Markham, his parents Samuel and Robbie Markham and a grandson Samuel L. Markham.

Taylor graduated from James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg.  He worked in the auto parts business until his retirement.  He loved playing the guitar and fishing. He enjoyed family gatherings at the homeplace.

A special thank you to his caregiver Mary White for giving him comfort and care during his journey with Alzheimer's.

A graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Spotsylvania on November 4 th at 12:00.   In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's association will be appreciated.
