Robert Dean Wickline, better known as "Bob", passed away suddenly at his Beaverdam home on Monday, March 1, 2021.

He was born on August 13, 1958 in West Virginia spending much of his childhood with his adventurous and loving aunts, uncles, brothers and cousins.   The flooring trade found him as a teenager.  He excelled in the flooring industry with his zest for craft and people skills until his retirement in 2016. He married Katherine Esancy in 1978.  They raised a daughter and son, Chelsea and Robbie in Fredericksburg Virginia.  He later married LuAnne Maples and gained an adult step son and daughter, Zak and Brittney.

Dad was a person of true integrity.  He would hang the moon not only for those he loved but anyone who needed it.  He was an ultimate DIY guy before DIY was cool. Woodworking, gardening EVERYTHING, collecting things of old, horses, smoking BBQ and tractor restoration were just a few of his hobbies.  He was known for his unparalleled work ethic, kindness, quiet strength, playful chuckle, the way he told a story, and his love of all kids but especially the ones he called family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Blanche, his mother Susie, his brother Ricky, and his canine companion Cubby.

He is survived by his wife LuAnne, his daughter Chelsea (Lachlan), his son Robbie, his step-children Zak (Anna) and Brittney, five grandchildren Tish, Layla, Luca, Cade, and Odin, his brother Barry (Alice), many nieces nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, buddies from work and tractor hunting.

Because pandemic restrictions private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March, 10 ^th at noon at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
