Rodney O'Neal Cottoms departed this life on November 24, 2007 in Woodbridge, VA. He was born on September 30, 1977 in Fulda Hessen, Germany to William H. and Gloria V. Cottoms.
Rodney was a fun loving person who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his children, sports, and hanging out with his friends. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Survivors include his, paternal grandmother Lillian Cottoms of Lignum, VA; son and daughter Jordan Leach & Kayla Burton of Dale City, VA; two siblings Shonda Bester (Clayton) and Kevin Seiger-Cottoms ( Joey ); three nephews Dominique Williams, Darrius Bester, Danny Seiger; niece, Gaby Seiger; a host of family and friends; and his devoted parents William and Gloria Cottoms of Lignum, VA.
The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, Virginia. Interment will be private. Condolences and gifts may be sent to William and Gloria Cottoms; 23907 Batna Road; Lignum, VA 22726.
