Roger Allen Strother (Billy) passed away Nov. 15 in Mt. Clemens, MI after a short illness. Roger is survived by his son: Roger A. Strother & wife Kortnie, Lorton, VA Daughter; Mary Anne "Julie" Holton & husband Deacon, Jacksonville, NC Three Grandchildren Elise Strother, Lorton, Lily and Jesse Holton of Jacksonville, NC He is also survived by his adoptive parents Eugene and Frieda Strother, Fredericksburg, Grandmother, Addie L. Strother, Fredericksburg Three Brothers Harry "Pete" Taylor Jr. of Milford, VA; Kenneth Taylor of Bowling Green, VA and James Taylor of Woodford, VA 3 Sisters: Tricia Anne "Cookie" Hale of Ashland, VA; Sue Faye "Poodle" Johnson of Shumansville, VA; and Catherene Jeanette "Ginger" Cowell of Richmond, VA. A number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a special friend Donna Fistler of Macomb, MI. Funeral Services will be Saturday Nov. 24, at 12 noon with Pastor Mildred Mabe officiating, and family receiving friends, beginning at 11 a.m. at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania and interment to follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
