Roland Snead, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 10, 2020.  Beloved husband of, Elinor Snead, loving mother of, Diane (Rick) Thornton, Linda Snead, David (Peggy) Snead, Daniel (Michele) Snead; devoted grandfather o,f Brian Henry, Jennifer (Robert) Keaton, Kevin (Sonya) Satterwhite, Jeffrey Bush, Justin (Bobbi-Sue) Snead, Eric (Cheryl) Snead, Alison (Lucas) Spillman, Heather Snead, and Stephanie Snead.  Roland was also blessed with 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  He is also survived by one of his sisters, Carolyn Stilling.  Roland was preceded in death by his brothers Carl Snead, Larry Snead and Roger Snead; and one of his sisters, Joyce Simmons.

Relatives and friends are invited to Roland's visitation at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA, on Tuesday, January 14th, from 11AM until the time of the service at 12pm.  Internment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
