Roodelyne Hines née JeanBaptiste, passed away peacefully, at the age of 37, at her residence in Stafford, VA, on November 22 nd , 2023,  surrounded by her loving family. Her departure came after a 19-year battle with Neurofibromatosis.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 3 rd , 1986, Roodelyne earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She was predeceased by her father Clode-Baptiste.

She is survived by her devoted husband Bencyon Hines, her kids Herdly, Roobianh and Roolen Hines. Her mother Rose Marie H. Jasmin and her siblings Rose Claunie JB Nemours, Surlyn Jean-Baptiste, Solyn Jean-Baptiste, Claunise Petit, Roody Jean-Baptiste, Rodeline Jasmin, Carl Laguerre. Also surviving her countless nieces, nephews, grand-nephew, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Roodelyne personified strength, perseverance and resilience. This was evident throughout her diagnosis, treatment, and lifelong journey. Despite intermittent periods of sickness, she never lost sight of how to enjoy life. She loved to party with her family and friends, read, listen to music, and binge on a good TV series. Shopping and self-care were also very important as she loved to strut her stuff, in the highest of heels, well-manicured nails and the latest hairstyle. She believed in being there for her nieces and nephews, to spoil, to support and love them.

Lyne, Louloune or Didine, as she was affectionately known; was loved by all. Her family and friends would saw her as a queen, a go-getter, a fighter and a boss. They describe her as being stubborn to a fault, yet loving, kindhearted, caring, resilient, generous and compassionate. Ultimately, she was everyone's cheerleader and saw the best in everyone.
