Russell William Hall Jr 58 of Woodford, VA passed away at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA Wednesday January 23, 2019. Russell was born October 24, 1960 in Washington D.C. to Russell and Patsy (Speight) Hall. Russell had an intoxicating smile that could light up the darkest room. He was a devoted family man, who's world revolved around his children, grandchildren, other family and friends. Russell had a passion for music and could often be found playing his upright bass or one of his guitars. Russell and his brother John, ran a successful construction painting company that funded their 70's model Torino, they raced at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas. Russell married LeAnne Carl December 31, 1999 in Stafford. Survivors include his wife, LeAnne; two sons Russell "Willie" Hall III (Lindsay), Justin Sommerlott (Emalee),two daughters, Sheila Hall (Josh Quint), Kylene Kerstetter (Justin); parents Russell and Patsy Hall; brother John Hall (Elena) and six grandchildren, Anastasia Hall, Kelsie Kerstetter, Russell "Will" Hall IV, Gage Jaeger, Hunter Kerstetter and Luke Sommerlott. Russell was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lillie Hall. memorial Services will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home beginning at 11am.
