Ryan James Epp as born November 13,  1971 in Washington DC and passed away on November 26, 2025, in Deland, Florida.  He had been struggling with severe depression which ultimately led to his passing.  He attended Falls Church High School in Fairfax Co. Graduating 1989, then he briefly attended the University of West VA.  Ryan started a masonry business serving the Northern VA and the Northern Neck of Virginia.  His preference for warmer climates led him to venture to Florida where he loved the warm welcoming Florida sun and resumed his masonry trade.

Ryan's parents:  Dian and Robert Epp, (VA) sister Elise Dutton, (John) nephew Jack, niece Brooke, (VA) and cousin Eric Christofferson (Wisconsin).

Ryan loved the outdoors, the ocean, adventure, and his family.  He always had a fishing pole ready for instant action either in the streams of the upper Potomac River or Chesapeake Bay or the James River.  He caught his biggest Large-mouth bass while on a father-son fishing expedition in Central Florida.  He joined in family vacations, and his quick wit brought laughter and joy to every gathering.   Ryan's adventurous spirit and love for family will be cherished by all  who were touched by his kindness and humor.

Ryan will be remembered in a Catholic Celebration of Life on December 15, 2025, 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Fredericksburg VA.  Following the service, Ryan will be interred at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 12127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania, VA.   A reception will follow in Laurel Hill Funeral home adjacent to the cemetery.  We invite you to share in your favorite stories and memories of Ryan at the reception.
