Sandra Faye Stewart, 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 26 th at her new home in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her loving husband, Arthur Stewart by her side.

Sandra was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on January 25, 1952 to James and Katherine Shumaker and grew up in Schuyler, Virginia. Sandra met and married the love of her life, Arthur Stewart and raised their son, James Stewart in Arlington, Virginia.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Arthur Stewart, son James Stewart, daughter-in-law Kellie Stewart, Granddaughter Marrissa Arnold, Grandson James Stewart, Greatgrandchildren, Kaylie Arnold and Millie Hulvey, sisters Diana Lynn Ragland (Joe) and Kathryn Stevens, nieces Angie Ragland, Tammy Smith (Jimmy), Karen Hall (Jeff), great nieces and nephews Megan, Emily, Alex and Zach, step children Arthur Stewart (Brandy), Richard Stewart and CeCe Stewart and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, James Shumaker and Katherine Via as well as her brother-in-law Ted Stevens.

A celebration of life will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home and; Memorial Park on Saturday, January 27 th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. located at 10127 Plank Road Spotsylvania, Virginia.
