Mrs. Shizuko Tashiro Benton, age 85 of Madisonville, Tennessee, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at the East Tennessee Health Care Center in Madisonville.
Mrs. Benton was born in Japan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Oren D. Benton. She was very respectful, kindhearted, and grateful for anything anyone done for her. Toward the end of her life, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Wilkerson, Dale Dutrow, and Donna Pastell and her husband Scott, and six grandchildren, Scotty, Kerrie, Brandon, and Kristen Pastell, Blake and Ryan Dutrow..
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00am Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
