Squire Brooks, (81), of Locust Grove, Virginia, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 with family by his side. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy E. (Thomas) Brooks and daughter, Debra Connell. He is survived by his devoted children, Ann Rossi (Eddie) and James Brooks (Brenda).  He is blessed with 14 cherished grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and a huge loving extended family.

Squire retired as a Captain for the Fairfax County Police Department in 1984 and served his country in the US Army.

Relatives and friends are invited to Squire's Funeral Service at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA on Wednesday, December 16th at  9:00 AM. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Everyone joining MUST wear a mask.
