Stanley William Roberts, age 80 years old, died in his home in Fredericksburg, Virginia on February 12, 2024, after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for the past two years. Stan was born on March 27, 1943, in Lanham, Maryland, the son of (father) William Stanley Roberts and Frieda (Herndon) Roberts.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded by a sister Barbara Roberts (Catlett, Virginia).

Stan graduated from Osbourn High Scholl (Manassas, Va), and upon graduation began a 35-year career working as a Biomedical Technician for Phillips Medical Systems. In addition to his career, Stan was a very active member of New Life in Christ Church (Fredericksburg, Virginia) and was amateur shortwave radio operator and train enthusiast.

He married his wife Eileen (Marion) Roberts on January 3, 1974, and they raised their three children in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Their 49-year marriage leaves behind surviving members to include his daughter Jennifer Chadwick and husband Sanders (of Centreville, VA), his daughter Jessica Urash and husband Graeme (of Alpharetta, GA), and son Jason Roberts and wife Jessica (of Fredericksburg, VA) and well as eleven grandchildren: Logan Chavarro, Alexis Chavarro, Parker Chadwick, Audrey Chadwick, Parker Hoskins, Davis Hoskins, David Urash, Madelyn Urash, Rachel Roberts, Kalene Roberts, and Joshua Roberts.

Stan's Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at New Life in Christ Church (Fredericksburg, VA).  His burial service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
