Stephen Clay Joseph, 63, formerly of Locust Grove, VA passed away on Sunday
November 12, 2017 in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Stephen was born on September 4, 1954 to Ervine and
Mary (Siler) Joseph in Prestonsburg, KY. He received an associate degree in music from South
Plains College in Levelland, TX. Steve began his own three piece Blue Grass band named 'The Summit' that performed in
the states, Canada and the Islands. At the time of his retirement he was employed by GEICO as an Information
Technologist. Stephen married Agnes Kendall on March 11, 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes; and mother, Mary Joseph. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at Laurel Hill
Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with family receiving friends one hour before. Entombment will
follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
