Tammy Lea Rogers, 60, of Spotsylvania, VA was called home to be with our Lord on December 10th, 2025.
Born June 23rd, 1965, in Washington, D.C., she was the beloved daughter of Father, Leroy Bartnek who preceded her in death and surviving Mother, Patricia Bartnek of Spotsylvania, VA.
Surviving along with her mother, is her two children and three grandsons'. A daughter, Taylor Templin and her husband Ethan and two grandsons, Eli and Wyatt Templin; of Spotsylvania, VA. A son, Dylan Rogers and his wife Kaitlyn and a grandson, Jonah Rogers; of Locust Grove, VA.
Tammy also leaves behind three siblings; a brother, Roy Bartnek and wife Barbara; of Queen Creek, AZ. A brother, Michael Bartnek and wife Jeesook; of Springfield, VA. A sister, Suzanne Stanley and husband Tom; of Conway, SC. Along with Tammy's surviving children, grandchildren and siblings; she is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Tammy was a loving mother, mimi, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved spending time with family and friends whether it was at cookouts, birthday parties, holiday gatherings or just getting together for dinner. Shows she loved watching were The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, Dateline, Friends, House Hunters, and her favorite of all QVC. Tammy loved going to the beach, relaxing by the pool; but also liked watching the snow falling during snowstorms. She was a lover of sea turtles, crab leg boils, German chocolate cake and snowman figurines. She enjoyed attending Washington National baseball games and was a die-hard Washington Redskins and Capitals fan. This past February of 2025, Tammy had just celebrated 40 years with the Federal Government as a Lead Legal Assistant for The Social Security Administration. She loved what she did and was a very hard-dedicated worker.
She will be long remembered for her compassion of others, her devotion to family and friends, her great sense of humor and her fun personality.
A celebration of life will be held in her memory, hosted by her two children; a date is still to be determined.
