Thomas Michael Maitland, 50, of Spotsylvania, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Va.. He is survived by his wife Wendy Sue Maitland; his four brothers, David L., John A., Joseph P. and Steven H. Maitland; two sisters, Mary L. Jerman and Elizabeth A. Maitland and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Maitland was a member of St. Mathew Roman Catholic Church and a member of Council 12434 Knights of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am. Monday Nov. 8, 2004 at St. Mathew Roman Catholic Church, Spotsylvania, with the Rev. William Schardt officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at St. Mathew Roman Catholic Church from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Sunday and a Rosary service will be conducted at 8:15 pm.
