Obituary
Thomas Carter Bethel, Jr. 82. of Locust Grove, went to his Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Healthsouth in Fredericksburg.
Thomas was a Korea War Army Veteran, serving from April 1953 to April 1955.
He worked at the Nations Capital until retiring in 1998, in the sheet metal department.
Survivors include his son: Thomas J. (Rebecca) Bethel, daughter: Teresa (John) Hines; brother; William A (Mary) Bethel and 3 sisters: Virginia Murray, Dorothy (James) Reed, and Margaret Webb.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 1, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Flat Run Church, Locust Grove, with the funeral services at 3 p.m. Interment will be Monday at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Tom's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org. Online condolences may be made at laurelhillfuneralhome.com
