Uriah Keith Durham, 26, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday May 5, 2011 in Spotsylvania.
He was born on July 25, 1984 in Kailua, Hawaii, the son of James and Ruth Durham. He was an employee of Laurel Hill Memorial Park and formerly employed at Game Stop. He also worked seasonally at Kings Dominion during their annual Halloween Haunt.
In addition to Uriah's parents, he is survived by his sister, Miranda Cornwell and her husband Christopher, his maternal grand-father, Gary Shumaker of Rainelle, WV, his fraternal grand parents, Donald and Gloria Durham of Charles City County, VA and his fraternal grandmother, Beverly Durham of Ardmore, OK. He is also survived by his nephew, Jason Cornwell.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Rev. Ben Thomas will officiate. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
