William West Adams 79, of Locust Grove Virginia, beloved father, grandfather, and husband, passed away Monday, March 31st 2014, while in the care of Saint Catherine Hospital of Siena, New York.

Born October 11th, 1934 in Davy, West Virginia, to the late Martin and Bessie Adams, he loved life, and lived for the joy of others. He was also a dedicated artist, who was employed with many different professions for most of his life, which also includes working for the New York City Transit Authority, until he retired.

William is survived by: his loving wife Mignon, and their two daughters Tena Adams, and Andria Brossmer, his ex-Wife Veronica Baker, and their three children Catherine Duijnisveld, William Adams Jr, Cynthia Lyon, his four beloved brothers Murl, Frank, Bob, and Clyde Adams and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, close family, and friends. William is predeceased by his two beloved brothers Ralph "Troy", and Clarence Adams, and his three beloved sisters Ruby Adams, Marie Petrosino, and Shirley Franklin
