William Albert Case Sr. ( Bill ) age 82 passed at home on Fathers Day surrounded by his family. Born March 31,1941 in Shelby, NC to Gordon Teeb Case and Kathleen Elizabeth Osteen. Bill was a pipeline welder for Washington Gas Light Company in Springfield for 35+ years until retirement.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and grandparents. Bill is survived by his former wife Joyce Anderson and children; Shannon Hoke, Catherine Monteith/ Shayne and William Case Jr all of Spotsylvania. Four grandchildren; Christopher Case/ Brittany of Lindside, WV, Sarah Marsh/ Joe of Danville, VA, Kayla Hoke and Kendra Monteith both of Spotsylvania. 6 great grandchildren, family in NC and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Special thanks to Michelle Blazek and MWHC Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to MWHC Hospice. Services will be June 23,2023 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home in Spotsylvania, VA. Visitation will begin at noon with services at 1 immediately followed by the graveside service.

There will be a Celebration of Life following the service, its time and location announced at the service.
