William Donald Dewey
William Donald Dewey, 75, of Lake of the Woods passed away Saturday May 5, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on October 24, 1936 in Salt Lake City, UT, the son of the late William Ernest and Zella Dewey. He was a US Army Veteran and a retired Human Resource Manager from the US Marine Corp. (Civilian)
Donald is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Dewey, two daughters, Jennifer Dewey of Alexandria, VA, and Jo Dene Dewey of Oakton, VA and his son-in-law, Paul Hoehne, his granddaughter Zella Filomena Hoehne, his brother Gordon Dewey of Lusby, MD, and his sister Carolyn Simmons of Williamsburg, VA.
A memorial service will be conducted 12:30 pm Saturday May 12, 2012 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lake of the Woods Fire and Rescue, 104 Lakeview Parkway, Locust Grove, VA 22508. On line condolences may be made at laurehillfuneralhome.com
