Obituary
William Franklin Hicks of Spotsylvania, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his children, June M. H. Bennett (Tom) and Vincent Bobby Hicks (Shirley); his siblings, Pete Hicks (Ruby), Ray Hicks and Larry Hicks (Judy); his grandchildren, William T. Bennett (Kim), Matthew Hicks, Jonathan Hicks (Corbin), Jamie Eder (Doug) and David Hicks; and his great-grandchildren, Grant Bennett, Jillian Bennett, MJ Hicks and Bryson Hicks. He is also survived by his dearest friend and companion Jackie Merritt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth N. Hicks; his son, Victor Hicks; his parents, Lawrence and Lillian Hicks; and his sisters Adra H. Sullivan, Janice H. Austin and Lillian (Sis) Fletcher.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 10:30AM.
