William "Will" Hart Ackerman, 43, Spotsylvania, passed away Wed. July 2, 2014 after a traffic accident. Will was born on March 8, 1971 to Robert W. and Patricia (Hart) Ackerman in Richmond, Va. He was a residential painter by trade.
Survivors include: his daughter; Megan Morgan Scott-Ackerman and her mother Margaret Scott; his father and step-mother; Robert And Holly Ackerman; his mother and step-father; Patricia and David Witmer; his sister; Amy Doyle and husband James and children Brandon, Christopher and Jamie; and his half sister Meredith Ackerman.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday July 10, 2014 at 11a.m., at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, with Rev. Amos Healy officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations for his daughter, Megan in care of: Margaret Scott 10734 Brice Ct. Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
