Willie Lewis Sloan Sr. (58) passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2023, in Orange County, VA, with his family lovingly by his side.

Willie was born on June 21st, 1964 to Bernard & Margie Sloan in Fairfax County, VA. He worked as a CDL truck driver for most of his life, but made sure to spend time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and good company. In 1981, Willie married Theresa, who would turn out to be the love of his life. The two went on to have seven children, 25 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his two siblings: Bernard Sloan & Norma Perry; six children: Lisa Ann Blankenship, Theresa Ann Sloan, Willie Lewis Sloan Jr, Robert Lee Sloan, Kevin Lee Sloan, & April Elizabeth Sloan; his 25 grandchildren; and his great granddaughter: Lively Ayda Sloan.

Services will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park on May 19th, 2023 at 12pm.
