Winnibel F. Holmes passed away on December 10th, 2023 at the age of 92. Winnibel was born August 9th, 1931 in Texhoma, Oklahoma to parents George Fry and Pearl Johnson. She had five siblings Gale, Bert, Nellie, Thelma, and Roy. After graduating high school and earning many certificates Winnibel went on to be a secretary in the White House, Pentagon, as well as her church. She married Harold Holmes and together they had two children; Kenneth Holmes and Carol Covington. Winnibel was an artist and enjoyed writing. Her favorite thing to write was short stories and she also enjoyed watching documentaries and working on her family tree.

She is survived by son Kenneth Holmes and wife Elena Holmes and her daughter Carol Covington, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation for Mrs. Holmes will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, December 15th beginning at noon. The funeral service for Mrs. Holmes will begin at 1pm followed immediately by a committal service at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
